Concert Dedicated to David Kaufman

David Kaufman

The concert in Mevaseret was dedicated to the memory of David Kaufman, who sang with us in Shahar Choir for approximately a year, just shortly before his untimely death at sea on August 2002. David, who left behind a wife and a young son, was highly devoted to his family, as well as to his work as a doctor of physics in a hi-tech company. He was also characterized by his great love of music; coming from a South-American family, music played an important part in David’s life. already before joining Shahar Choir David played guitar, sang, and listened to various types of music. He quickly found his place in Shahar Choir, with his unique Baritone voice, with the seriousness that characterized him in all that he did, and with his ability to enjoy every experience to its fullest. In this concert we remembered David through the music he loved.

The concert took place in the Moledet School auditorium, Mevaseret Zion on March 13, 2004, 8:30 pm, and was part of the series “Cheese & Wine Concerts”, Mevaseret Choir hosting Shahar Choir.
