| Gila Brill is a graduate of conducting at the Tel-Aviv Rubin Music Academy,
where she studied with Avner Itai. In addition she studied singing at the vocal department of the Academy.
Upon her graduation she gathered former youth choir singers as well as students of music,
and founded Shahar Choir, expanding, over time, their choral singing training.
As a youngster Gila sang, also as a soloist, under the conductor Arnon Maroz in the choir nowadays known as Ankor, and also excelled at the oboe.
Throughout the years she has also worked with children's choirs, engaged in vocal coaching and direction of teachers,
and has been active in the Israel Choral Organization, Hallel. Gila has also completed a BA in Physics; she is married and a mother of three.
Today Gila is known primarily for her performances with Shahar Choir. Since 2000 she has also been the conductor of Mevaseret Zion Choir.
